National Young Chef Culinary Competition – Winner
And the winner is…..
Big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to grade 7 scholar, Amina Eneas, who not only won the Junior Division for the New Providence Young Chef competition several weeks ago, but yesterday, she was announced as the WINNER of the Junior division for the National Young Chef Culinary Competition, out of 12 other outstanding participants from New Providence and the Family Islands. She is now the top Junior Chef in the country!
At 10 years old, she is the YOUNGEST competitor in the history of the competition. What an accomplishment!
Her prizes include a cash prize of $650, and a FREE 4 day career exploratory trip to Johnson & Wales University, Providence, Rhode Island campus, this summer.
We are so proud of Amina and her coach, Culinary Instructor, Mrs. Amunet Eneas, for their hard work and phenomenal accomplishment.
Congratulations to her parents, Dr. Cleveland Eneas and Mrs. Amunet Eneas (yes, her coach is her mother also!).
